# Admin Tools

SessionQuota Pro includes a set of operational tools for site administrators.

These tools are available from the `Tools` tab.

## Force Logout User

Use this tool to find a specific user and terminate all of their active sessions.

### Typical use cases

- A user reports a suspicious login
- A customer shared credentials and needs a clean reset
- A staff member needs help clearing old devices

## Logout All Sessions

Use this tool to terminate active sessions across the site.

### Important behavior

- This action logs out all users
- Your current session is preserved

### Typical use cases

- Security incident response
- Membership abuse cleanup
- Site-wide account reset after a policy change

## Reset Plugin Data

Use this tool to reset plugin settings to their defaults.

### Important behavior

- This resets plugin settings
- It does not terminate user sessions

## Export Settings

Use export when you want to save your current SessionQuota Pro configuration.

### Helpful for

- Moving settings between staging and production
- Keeping a backup before major changes
- Sharing a known-good configuration with a team

### Sensitive data note

The export tool can include sensitive data such as license keys. Store exported files securely.

## Import Settings

Use import when you want to restore a previously exported configuration.

### Helpful for

- Cloning setup across sites
- Rolling back to a saved configuration
- Rebuilding a site quickly

### License note

If the import file contains license data, the import workflow can also trigger license activation or validation.

## When to use the Tools tab instead of WP-CLI

Use the `Tools` tab when:

- You prefer a visual interface
- You are handling one-off admin tasks
- Non-technical admins need access

Use WP-CLI Guide when:

- You want automation
- You manage large sites
- You need repeatable bulk operations
