Suggested starting configuration #
For most sites, start with:
- Logging enabled
- IP logging enabled
- User agent logging enabled
- A sensible retention period
- Blocked-login alerts enabled
Then add country detection if your environment supports it.

- Keep retention only as long as your policies require
- Enable email alerts for high-value membership or ecommerce sites
- Review logs regularly after changing enforcement rules
